Despite the concept of paperless offices, most companies continue to generate printed documents which could be commercially sensitive and which fall under the remit of the Data Protection Act. With different legal and internal retention requirements for different types of documents it is important to know what to keep and how long for; Safebox can offer you the guidance you require for this.

Once a document has reached the end of its retention, disposing of it securely is as important as storing it securely. Legislation states that information contained in documents must be destroyed in a way that ensures it cannot be recreated. Safebox is able to securely destroy your confidential documents, shredding them to DIN level 3. After destruction we will provide you with certification that this has been carried out in accordance with the Data Protection Act, allowing you complete traceability and proving due diligence.

All destroyed paper is then pulped and recycled.
