Safebox's Document Scanning Solutions can be used as part of a client's overall Document Management project or as an individual stand-alone Scanning system. As with all of Safebox's Document Imaging services the key factors are high security, confidentiality and efficiency.

Safebox’s Scanning bureau, based in Cambridge, has the capacity to convert to digital format up to 30,000 sheets of A4 paper per day. We also possess various colour and large format paper scanners and digitisers. We are able to digitise any paper archive, regardless of age, individual size, condition, binding or other constraints, into seamless and cohesive databases.

We provide systems and solutions for every type of project, to cover every stage of the Document Scanning/Processing Life Cycle. Throughout we apply rigid engineering Quality Assurance procedures, closely monitoring all stages of the work.

Conversions are always executed without altering the original documents in any way. We guarantee replication of document content in its original layout and style. Moreover this is achieved without any stress on the actual fabric of the original document, regardless of age. This is essential for fragile documents and rare and priceless archives.

We have the ability to scan in 24-bit colour (millions of colours) any document (maps, legal maps, blueprints and plans, etc.) up to the width of the standard A0 format and up to any length, and down to business card size, and these can be output to a variety of formats i.e. CD, DVD and web. Alternatively, scanned images can be published on a secure SSL enable web server, allowing authorised users access to scanned images and information from any web browser from anywhere in the World.
